How to Make the Most of
Your
Wedding Showcase Experience
Planning a wedding – no matter how small and simple – can be overwhelming. Help is available.
Wedding Showcases offer Brides and Grooms a chance to meet area service providers in a festive, one-stop-shopping atmosphere. Experts in flowers, favors, photography, invitations, music, transportation, and more will be on hand to help future brides plan their most important day.
Coordinator Kathleen Veth offers the following tips to brides-to-be:
- Bring a sturdy tote bag to collect free samples, coupons, brochures, and other handouts.
- Take one of everything. At the time, you might not think you need information on a harpist or an entertainer to keep young reception guests busy, but who knows? It’s impossible to be over-prepared.
- Invite a friend. Members of your family or wedding party can help you cover all of the show and act as your second opinion. Better yet, your bridal buddies can help carry all those brochures and free samples you’ll collect
- Tuck some return address labels in your purse to save time filling out forms.
- And, since you’ll want to visit each and every booth, wear comfortable shoes.
